Zoomcar, India’s leading car-sharing marketplace, has launched Zoomcar Cabs in Bengaluru as part of a pilot programme. This new service offers commercial cars with professional drivers at competitive prices, expanding beyond the company’s popular self-drive offerings. This move follows customer feedback and aims to address the growing demand for convenient, flexible, and reliable travel options.

Zoomcar Cabs stands out by providing guests with the freedom to choose from a wide range of vehicles, including hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs, as well as the option to select specific car models—something that is typically not available in other cab services. Guests can easily add their pick-up or start location on the app and manage their stops, routes, and destinations in real-time, without needing to update the app, a flexibility not usually offered by other cab apps.

The service caters to varying customer needs, allowing bookings from as little as two hours to as long as 30 days or more. Zoomcar’s commitment to transparency is reflected in its clear pricing structure, which includes driver allowances, fuel costs, and a fixed kilometre limit.

Hiroshi Nishijima, CEO of Zoomcar, commented: “At Zoomcar, we have always been committed to enhancing mobility solutions that cater to the evolving needs of our customers. The launch of Zoomcar Cabs marks a significant step in fulfilling this commitment and allows us to extend our offerings to travellers who prefer the convenience of chauffeur-driven vehicles.”
